The Earth Citizen is a profile of a Citizen that every country should aspire to develop. Speaks English, works to maximize progress within the constraints of sustainability without leaving externalities, guarantees social inclusion, incorporate diversity and the best use of every human brain, values Harmony and will make sure that s/he will leave a better Earth for her/his return in the next incarnation.

Singapore is the leading country in this concept and China and many other Asian nations are following. No Western Country. Why? Plato’s Cave. The workings of self-interest in Western capitalism through corporations, government, media and religion.

The rise of China, the recent pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war give us some important data to be analyzed with the scientific method.

It is important to use scientific method to find the Truth: looking at empirical evidence analyzed by professionals Without Conflict of Interest. Once we find the Truth, it is surprisingly Very Good, but there are some important challenges, specially in the Western World.

In order to understand this context, let’s look at the chronology of life and knowledge in the world:

What can we learn from this chronology?

The human being is an amazing machine of 3.8 billion years of genetic technology;
There are three Natural Laws important to achieve maximum evolution: Progress, Meritocracy and Social Inclusion
Self-interest is a characteristic of homo sapiens that differentiated us from other species bringing much faster development.
Any human machine can perform if the right incentives are put in place with adequate resources
The Asians are presenting the fastest growth rates since the second world war, with Singapore and China leading in a path with the most competent politicians in Human History, demonstrating the errors of the liberal ideology (assuming that governments are incompetent and corrupt).

The Western civilization performed a faster development path than the Eastern civilization for centuries. After the second world war, two men drove a shift on wealth creation in the world:

Keynes presented the theory on how to have continuous growth through the management of aggregate demand, and
Lee Kuan Yew (LKY) put that in practice in Singapore with the best human leadership we have ever had.

Singapore and China are building Earth Citizens incorporating western technology and now the West needs to catch up incorporating harmony and better governance in its political system.

Challenges in the West (US/Europe):

Competent and Independent Government. Government officials need to have a very competitive compensation system, like the private sector, in order to attract talent and align their incentives with the best interest of The People;
Corporate corruption and media censorship. The corporations of capitalism capture government and media to protect their own interest and not the interest of The People:
- The lobby that is allowed in the US system is a clear scheme to protect corporate interests that are not good for The People: weapons, drugs, health system etc.
- The US/Europe is favoring the war in Ukraine with the interest of selling weapons.
- India, Egypt and most African nations got rid of covid with a generic drug (ivermectin) while the developed world continues prohibiting it and imposing mRNA vaccines without disclosing bad side effects (e.g. myocarditis). Covid Deaths Ranking.
- FDA, NIH, CDC did not allow ivermectin to be used in the US in spite of all the evidence (Clear evidence with real-time meta-analysis of 95 studies), in order to protect US corporate interests (pharmaceutical companies); Front Line Covid19 Critical Care.
- Major media in the West did not disclose all the good research and evidence from other countries on this generic drug to protect the interest of their advertisers; the censorship on all the doctors and researchers is a clear sign of lobby and fascism in the region
- Major media in the West does not present fair information about what goes on in Asia, they always put a negative spin that keeps The People in the Cave.
Religious beliefs and governance. The concept of resurrection of Christ, against science and common sense, deviates from the more natural belief of reincarnation (most spread in the East) that creates a stronger bond between the individuals and Earth considering the concern with environment and sustainability. Religious organizations need to pay taxes like any other business and disclose their financials to all their members (In God We Trust, nobody else with self-interest). The Mormon scandal of the US$32B fund is a clear proof of bad materialism spoiling spiritual values, consistent with the multiple issues faced by the Vatican.

A humanidade evolui sempre adotando o melhor modelo para uma quantidade maior de pessoas. No início das civilizações tínhamos reis e tiranias (e.g.: Egito, Pérsia). Os filósofos gregos neste contexto criaram o conceito da república e da democracia (500 AC a 100 DC), mas continuamos com reis e tiranias até os EUA implantarem a primeira república com sua independência em 1776. Os europeus foram evoluindo de reinados para repúblicas nos séculos seguintes. E Singapura, seguida pela China, criou uma nova evolução política superior e mais inclusiva do que o modelo ocidental. A evidência empírica do sucesso econômico e social deste modelo é incontestável, mas poucas pessoas no ocidente o entende porque nossa mídia distorce o que realmente acontece por lá. O segredo por trás deste modelo está na maneira como ele utiliza os cérebros da população. Quanto mais inclusivo, quanto maior o número de cérebros engajados neste processo de gestão da comunidade, maior o sucesso. É intuitivo, mas não é o praticado porque os interesses de grupos andam a frente do interesse comum quando há falta de transparência e má governança, comum nos sistemas políticos da maioria dos países.

Em 1965 Singapura iniciou este modelo com o People Action Party, país tem hoje 5,7 milhões de habitantes. Em 1978 a China sai do comunismo marxista e inicia a replicação deste modelo em país que hoje tem 1,4 bilhão de habitantes. Trata-se de um modelo no qual o governo é competente, tem os incentivos corretos para maximizar o bem estar da população e trata diversidade através da priorização da Harmonia.

As evidências empíricas do sucesso podem ser resumidas pela taxa de crescimento de Singapura desde 1965. Hoje é um dos países mais ricos do mundo per capita se considerarmos no PIB só questões relacionadas a conhecimento e tirarmos distorções como commodities (p.ex. petróleo) ou recursos financeiros (p.ex. paraísos fiscais).

A China replicou e melhorou o modelo de Singapura com sua escala de recursos. Além de taxas de crescimento fenomenais desde 1978, o país está presente em todas as tecnologias de ponta, e tem um governo ainda mais independente do setor privado do que Singapura, como evidenciado pela pressão exercida pelo presidente Xi sobre os empresários para eles criarem políticas mais inclusivas para a população a partir do ano passado, e também pelo desempenho no combate à covid. China está com mortalidade de 4 óbitos por milhão de habitantes, enquanto Singapura está com 229, Reino Unido 2.578 e EUA 3.068.

Enquanto os governos do ocidente são capturados pela iniciativa privada através de lobbies e corrupção, este efeito foi minimizado em Singapura desde sua fundação, mas a China conseguiu ir além minimizando ainda mais a influência negativa do modelo capitalista ocidental.

A economia chinesa já é 20% maior do que a dos EUA em US$ em paridade de poder de compra, e cresce a taxas mais rápidas. Seu modelo de gestão econômica e social é mais inteligente e inclusivo. O comunismo versão Karl Marx, inepto, que teve a Revolução Cultural como uma de suas marcas, aprendeu com Singapura e criou um “capitalismo inclusivo” ou “comunismo capitalista“. O comunismo que invadiu a China em 1949 não conseguiu entrar em Singapura devido a liderança marcante de Lee Kuan Yew. Nestes países há um compromisso claro com progresso, emprego, moradia, educação e infra-estrutura para todos.

Adam Smith e John Keynes se preocupavam como os governos poderiam ser corrompidos com os interesses da iniciativa privada, em situações tipo monopólio, e outras onde agentes públicos mal remunerados, tomando decisões de impacto no lucro das empresas, seriam corrompidos influenciados por interesses próprios não alinhados com os da população.

O interesse próprio do setor privado dos EUA e do Reino Unido, países importantes no Ocidente, determinaram a alta mortalidade de covid em seus países (3.068 e 2.578 por milhão de habitantes), privilegiando vacinas emergenciais (mRNA) e medicamentos caros (remdesivir) e impedindo que medicamentos genéricos eficazes como ivermectina fossem usados preventivamente e no tratamento da doença. Índia, Egito, Bangladesh, República Dominicana, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, RDC e vários outros países que usam este medicamento já estão livres da covid segundo dados do worldometers.info e new york times covid. Este interesse próprio das grandes empresas do setor privado está presente no governo, nas agências de saúde (FDA, NIH, CDC, EMA, OMS/WHO etc.) e nas principais mídias devido a seus anunciantes.

Este interesse próprio no setor de saúde também existe no setor bélico e impulsiona o governo dos EUA a criar este contexto de 3a Guerra Mundial com a Rússia, enquanto a China tem uma política mais harmônica, respeitando diversidade de visões de mundo, para evitar conflitos desnecessários e que danificam a evolução da humanidade.

Quando nos defrontamos com situações de Desinformação, como muito praticado pelas religiões, principalmente na Idade Média, precisamos aplicar o Método Científico, ou seja, acreditar em evidências empíricas analisadas por profissionais sem conflito de interesse. Isto não ocorre quando governos, agências, igrejas, hospitais e mídias possuem interesses (financeiros) diferentes do da população em geral.

Covid deveria ter sido uma lição com 6,3 milhões de mortes pelo mundo, mais de 80% evitáveis e concentradas nos países com mais recursos per capita e mais desenvolvidos. Precisamos evitar entrar em uma Terceira Guerra Mundial também por questão de Desinformação. Para isso é fundamental sempre entender a posição da China, sem as distorções típicas de nossa mídia. Não estamos habituados ao conceito de Harmonia.
